CHANGE STARTS WITH ME

I  imagined the power of your movement if it included some of the “other” 1% and employees of banks and corporations.   What if rather than demonizing millions of people you invited them to join you in speaking out against economic injustice?  What if rather than being against so many things – and people – you were for something positive?
Both Gandhi and Martin Luther King wrote that successful non violent social movements require internal work among the participants, not just action in the outside world.  The internal work is to develop enough wisdom and compassion so that people do not become the subject of protest, anger and violence.   The focus is always on the condition, the policy, the underlying cause of the injustice.

Values and Success

Anyone who has had the privilege of serving in a branch of the Philippine army is familiar with military values.   These values vary between branches, but are similar just the same.   Some of the values include; honor, duty, loyalty, respect, commitment, courage or personal courage, integrity and selfless service.   Values have been defined as the beliefs people have about what is right and wrong and what is most important in life, which control their behavior.Furthermore applied ethics is the application of moral norms to specific moral issues and cases.   Abiding by these values could greatly impact professional career success.   This paper will describe how Integrity, Respect, Honor, and Courage will impact career success through professional values and ethics.
One of the army core values is Integrity.   Cambridge Advanced Learner’s Dictionary defines integrity as being honest and having strong moral principles that you refuse to change.   In other words, it means being truthful in all that you say and do.   Living and speaking integrity can be quite difficult, because after all human beings are not born morally perfect.    Professional Integrity is of great importance because “Organizations of high integrity achieve superior performance because they attract and retain high-quality employees, customers, supplies, and investors.”

MY DREAMS,MY FUTURE

First of all I want to become a teacher .College graduates, of course, earn higher incomes than other people. Why, then, should we panic in the thought that they have to repay loans, for the education giving them their opportunities? Even graduates with relatively modest incomes pay fewer than 10 percent of there annual salary on the first loan the first year with declining percentages in future years, as their pay increased.

Political hysteria and media hype may focus on the low-income student with a huge debt. This is were we get our heart-rending stories even if they are not all that typical. In reality, the soaring student loans of the past decade have not resulted from allowing high-income people to borrow under government programs.

So I will try harder to become a teacher someday.

Responding to Climate Change

Climate change is one of our problems in our world. Climate change is still low on political agenda and world leaders are yet again more worried about global finances than about global climate.
The scientists have already issued warnings that greenhouse gases are back on rise in the atmosphere which causes faster melting of polar ice caps and increases the global sea levels.

It is almost the same scenario as in 2009, namely financial crisis is once again being used as an excuse to delay any significant climate change action. Because of the financial crisis politicians are once again unwilling to put hands in their pockets and come up with the money needed to adapt to global climate changes. To prevent global climate change let us do the 3 R, Reuse, Reduce, Recycle.

My Teacher, My Hero

What is a teacher? A teacher to me is the one who teach and guide us inside the campus. They are our second parent because they are the one who teach us what is right or wrong. They inspire me to achieve my goals.
All teachers are responsible and loving parents. They care about their students. I admire and salute all teachers around the world. I hope you will never give up to us. I know sometimes we are irritable and noisy, I hope that the patience and love grow longer. Thank you for giving us knowledge and wisdom.
I hope that all teachers will be the model to pursue our dreams.

Isulong ang Breastfeeding: Tama, Sapat at Eksklusibo

From the theme "Isulong ang Breastfeeding:Tama,Sapat at Eksklusibo" meaning we have to use breastfeeding instead of milk of cow, goat or carabao.                                                                                                   Breastfeeding is the most important to the growth of babies. It is important because it gives vitamins, nutrients and other more that babies need.Mommies neeeds to breastfeed their babies to make them become healthy and to grow fast. some babies are not healthy because they substitute Nido,Bearbrand,Alazka and other more milk products instead of milk mommies.                                                                                                                               So that it encourage all mommies to take breastfeeding instead of animal milk products.Babies are more healthy and nourished .
